BIDS
May 4th, 2009
I am making this page at the suggestion of a reader. Unfortunately, previous comments cannot be moved here. My last bid was for Quakers. I’m not done with Catholicism yet, but when I am, that is where I will be heading. You can view that bid under comments for the post “Welcome.” From now on, I would appreciate if all bids could be left on this page. Thank You.
What about ethical humanism? It’s like a community for the non-religious. They don’t worry about the existence of the supernatural. They just focus on making their community better. Ethical Society of St. Louis is the local meeting place.
Theravada Buddhism, a.k.a. “Difficult” Buddhism. Given that you’re too old and too full of X-chromosomes to be a monk, maybe you could consider the less rigorous path followed by the lay supporters of monastic communities in places such as Sri Lanka, Burma, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
