Aarti, I think about you and Lars all of the time and I think you are both amazing people. This website further proves my theory that you are my friend because you’re like me, your outlook on the world matches mine and plus - you’re really cool. It makes me sad to think of the future, but your pursuit is similar to mine, if not more of a priority. I gave up on God and religion many years ago even though I was raised catholic. I have wanted to “find God” or find some religion that matches my view of the world for many years but have always been too wrapped up in my life to give it much thought or make it a priority. I would like to follow the progress of your quest since I am on a similar quest and I am curious what turns up. I would love to share with you at some other time if you’re interested what values are important to me, sort of my shopping list in a religion if you will. I imagine they’re probably similar to yours. Do you have a shopping list? It seems like you’re pretty open but I believe that all people have a list of things that are really important to them. Thank you for being so open and forthcoming. And thank you for being you.
I’m not selling, just to let you know, your a groovy chicka. Don’t worry about people trying to push shit on you. Go with what feels right too you.
Love
Amy
Allright I’m going to get in there with the 1st bid for Catholicism. Your soul is eternal and if you follow the rules you go to heaven and are reunited with your loved ones who have also made it to heaven. Fun things include Confession, Papal infallibility and communion wine turns blue when you rinse out the chalice affter Mass (fun fact courtesy of my time as a candlebearer during Catholic School).
